The Cartwheel Galaxy and companion galaxies observed by JWST HD Wallpaper

The James Webb Space Telescope captures the Cartwheel Galaxy, a ring galaxy 500 million light-years away. Its structure is a result of a high-speed collision between a large spiral galaxy and a smaller galaxy. The image also shows two smaller companion galaxies and numerous background galaxies.
